  • Responsibilities

    The Assistant Director of Admission Systems and Analytics is responsible to maintaining the data integrity of the Admissions databases, developing enhancements as well as managing the Slate CRM while mentoring and training functional users and high-level technical expertise.  This important role will oversee and be responsible for Admissions office data integrity and the operational maintenance and data integrity of the Admissions databases including, but not limited to Ellucian Banner, Technolutions Slate, Microsoft PowerBI and Banner Document Management. The position works seamlessly with Enterprise Information Systems to build and maintain the bi-direction data import and export rules between Slate and Banner and other third-party systems, as well as all work related to processing student applications and reports. Identify and resolve data integrity issues, creates documentation, and provide staff training to prevent issues. Audit admission data systems on a regular basis to manage and ensure the accuracy and integrity of admission data in both Slate and Banner. This essential position is responsible to developing and interpreting business intelligence and data visualization and will recommend strategies for accurate data-driven decision making.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serves as lead administrator for Slate CRM and other admission related systems which includes designing systems, developing documentation, and policy and procedures with close collaboration of the Director of Enrollment Operations and Marketing.  This work includes:
      • Maintain and enhance custom online portals for prospects, applicants and admitted students.
        • Ensure accuracy, high quality and integrity of data entered admission systems and Banner SIS through assessment and quality control reviews and audits.

        • Identify, collaborate, and incorporate new Slate CRM functionality and enhancements; to include timelines, testing, documentation, and execution of a training plan.

        • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application processing in Slate, data integration between Slate and other systems.

        • Provide end user training and support, to include managing user accounts, profiles, permissions, and onboarding new users.

        • Perform system configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and quality control processes for all online applications, from submission through decision release.

    • Responsible for managing all aspects of data integrations of admission data systems between Slate CRM and Banner SIS / Banner Document Management.
      • In close collaboration with Enterprise Information Systems, develop CRM integration support for data needs with outside vendors. Helps establish best practices and protocols for data management, validation, and integrity.
    • Responsible for developing enrollment dashboards that allow the Vice President and Senior Enrollment leaders to analyze patterns, recommend strategies and evaluate opportunities for improvement.  These dashboards will include strategic decisions, data accuracy, qualification of prospective students, and daily recruitment.
    • Supports Enrollment Operations Marketing team by assisting with query development and technical consultation.
    • Performs other site and position specific functions as assigned

     

     

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree; or five (5+) years of experience in a wide scope of modern data management procedures and practices working in a CRM, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
    • Extensive knowledge in use and structure of databases and spreadsheets software; Broad experience with relational database management required  
    • Proficient in Technolutions Slate CRM, with a deep understanding of bin movement, rule writing and database management
    • Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting methods
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills, systems, and technologies and apply knowledge to business problems
    • Extensive knowledge in use and structure of databases and spreadsheets software; Broad experience with relational database management required

    Salary Grade:  6

    Completed COVID-19 Vaccine status required
