Job Description

The Customer Service Representative interacts with the company’s customers to address inquiries, provide quotes, confirm orders, and satisfactorily resolve concerns to ensure excellent service is delivered.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, text, or in person to provide information, quotes, and confirm orders on products and services related to event rentals
•  Collects and enters accurate data and information to provide quotes, confirm orders for new or additional products or services
• Fields customer questions and concerns; escalates to the assigned specialist or other appropriate supervisory staff as necessary
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer concerns and complaints
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, quotes, orders, changes / updates, concerns, or comments
• Enters credit card information on system to ensure proper billing and payment
• Takes measurements and provides event planning at event location or venue
• Performs other related duties as assigned

· REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• 3-5 years of customer service experience required; sales experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent service orientation with ability to satisfactorily resolve customer issues
• Professional, friendly, honest, reliable team player
• Proficient typing and computer skills
• Proficient at multi-tasking and performing detail-oriented activities while working under pressure in fast-paced environment
• Experience in event rentals, entertainment, hospitality or event planning preferred

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in business administration, marketing, or another similar field preferred

SCHEDULE:

• Ability to work Sunday through Friday and overtime as needed
