    ROLE

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • General HR/ personnel administration (I-9, W-4, trainings etc) for both our US based offices, New York City and Los Angeles.
    • Make sure that our workplaces are compliant with current local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
    • With input from the hiring team, manages the full cycle of RECRUITING efforts including writing job posts, scanning applications and candidate correspondence.
    • Responsible for EMPLOYEE RELATIONS efforts.
    • Managing and Maintenance of the HRIS as well as the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • New Hire ORIENTATION/onboarding  and offboarding of all US employees.
    • Being first point of contact for all US employees HR related questions.
    • Owns the performance review process, keeps track and supports managers through the review process.
    • Administrator of 401K plan. Serves as Point of Contact for all 401K questions/ matters.
    • Healthcare program ADMINISTRATOR. Duties include, but are not limited to enrollment, approval of changes, and COBRA.
    • Secondary Payroll ADMINISTRATOR; revise wages, deductions, earnings, credits with the accounting department.
    • Manages the process of all PAID FAMILY LEAVE AND SHORT TERM DISABILITY Requests for US based employees.
    • Supporting the CHRO with visa applications, processes and renewals.
    • Facilitate, support and sometimes initiate cultural events for staff as well as team days.
    • Performing ad hoc projects and other related duties as assigned such as COMPENSATION RESEARCH and cost of living studies for different US markets.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Knowledge of federal, state and city employment laws and guidelines including but not limited to FLSA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, ADA, FFCRA, IRS Pub 535, 334, Key to NYC, NYPFL, Ca SDI.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • HR certifications (aPHR, PHR, SHRM) a plus.
    • Familiarity with employment/ study visas such as O-1, F1 (CPT, OPT), E-3, E-2.
    • Being an engaged and friendly member of our team.
    • Ability to work unsupervised or in a team.
    • Ability to communicate in an effective and efficient manner.
    • Great interpersonal skills.
