    The Bartolotta Restaurants team is comprised of more than 500 team members and internal partners, across 17 locations, who count on us to help connect them to a larger purpose, to find ways to serve our guests with an ultimate fine dining experience while upholding exceptional hospitality standards.

    We are looking for someone who is eager to grow in Restaurant Events and Catering to join our team. Reporting directly to the Catering Sales and Business Development Manager, this candidate will support and coordinate restaurant events, event set up, administrative support for the Sales Team and respond to inbound calls, emails and online form submissions.  They will also support planning for events including event proposals, logistical details such as floor plans, event flow, and staffing/equipment requirements.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer and screen incoming telephone calls in a professional and timely manner, check voice mails and return calls; take accurate messages with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy distributing appropriately
    • Distribute daily internal/external mail and packages; send and distribute faxes.
    • Assist with guest billing and collection of deposits
    • Compose, type, and distribute professional correspondence and memoranda, E-mails and faxes, using individual initiative and as assigned.
    • Proactively establish, and maintain highly organized filing system; file correspondence and other records.
    • Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of and kept abreast of schedule awareness.
    • Check availability, put space on hold and email contracts
    • Manage and monitor prospect calls in catering sales platform
    • Book appointments for tours
    • File catering folders after they have been logged in the daily events
    • Email potential clients catering information
    • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
    • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Associates Degree or Certification in Sales, Marketing or Event Planning (A Plus)
    • Prior experience in Catering, Banquet, or Restaurant operations (Preferred)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Organizational Skills
    • Detail Oriented
    • Customer Service Experience
    • Ability to Multi-task in an Ever-Changing Environment
