BAY CITY HAS AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A PROJECT ACCOUNTANT FOR OUR RICHMOND, CA HEADQUARTERS, LOCATED WITHIN MINUTES OF THE MARINA BAY AREA. The Project Accountant is a key role in the accounting department and is responsible for ensuring all project budgets, billings & collections are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setup and maintain job budgets
• Process AIA billings and change orders
• Process subcontractor and supplier lien releases
• Setup and maintain job accounting files for assigned projects
• Process job receipts
• Release subcontractor invoices for payment
• Review and analyze job costs reports to ensure accuracy & perform necessary corrections
• Extensive collections activity

QUALIFICATIONS (PROJECT ACCOUNTANT/CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE DETAILED ON RESUME IS A MUST TO BE REVIEWED)

• Minimum 4 years accounting experience in the construction or engineering industry
• Working knowledge of CMiC accounting software or a similar package
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook (MS Office)
• Solid organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Ability to organize and lead a group of people.
• Ability to work independently or as member of a team.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
