BAY CITY MECHANICAL HAS AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR AN ACCOUNT PAYABLE SPECIALIST FOR OUR RICHMOND, CA HEADQUARTERS, LOCATED WITHIN MINUTES OF THE MARINA BAY AREA.

This position would be fully onsite (no remote/hybrid option) and we require any candidates that are selected to be interviewed to provide proof of vaccination before entering our main facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Full cycle AP position that includes all invoice processing, both vendor and subcontractors, all the way through to the cutting of weekly AP checks. Matching of purchase orders and packing slips with corresponding invoices Accurately process electronic payments in a timely manner, along with meeting the payment deadlines for all monthly obligation such as rents, credit cards, etc. Reviewing and inputting all EE expense reports Paying subcontractors retentions when due and with management approval Handling vendor/subcontractors payment inquiries and ensuring accounts are kept in good standing Routinely reconcile the accounts of vendors/subcontractor to confirm amounts owed Follow the directions of the AP supervisor in meeting the department’s goals and priorities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years’ experience in high volume AP in the construction industry Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment Highly organized and team-oriented individual Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word Working knowledge of CMiC accounting software or similar accounting software a plus PERKS: Bay City Mechanical offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a competitive salary, medical, dental, and a 401(k)-employer sponsored retirement plan, generous paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
