    BrandStar Technologies (BrandStar Tech or BT), a division of BrandStar Entertainment, is in search of a local or remote Business Development Lead (BDL) to help bring new clients into our rapidly growing technology division, as well as help grow our existing client relationships. Our goal is to connect with brands in our target verticals and help them understand why BrandStar Tech is the ideal partner for all their technology needs specifically focused on Lead Management, Rev Generation and Marketing Automation, Application Design and Development, Streaming Services, Hybrid Live and Virtual Events and Product Engineering (SaaS and PaaS Models). 

    We're looking for a self-starting, energetic individual who will be part leader, relationship builder, strategist, and critical thinker. Equal parts hunter and farmer. This person will contribute to our outbound and inbound sales and marketing functions, ensuring the creative design, development and production/delivery teams get to do their best work each and every day.     The ideal candidate will have an agency background or agency experience (digital preferred) and be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong communication skills and possess good negotiation skills. 

    Responsibilities

    • Research and understand the needs and pain points of target clients, their industry, and their competitors 
    • Ensure the success of finding, nurturing, and closing qualified, positioned leads
    • Develop and grow client relationships 
    • Manage your sales pipeline
    • Sell marketing and advertising solutions
    • Track KPIs to ensure targets are consistently being hit
    • Attend industry functions (can be virtual) and/or participate in professional organizations with the purpose of building and maintaining your professional network

     

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years in sales industry
    • Agency background/experience (Digital and or Technology-NOT IT! Preferred)
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing services-- Paid Media (PPC), Content Marketing, Creative, Email Marketing, Photo/Video, SEO, Social Media, Web Development, Software Applications (SaaS + PaaS products), etc.
    • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing 
    • Demonstrated sales success
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Strong business acumen
    • HubSpot experience is preferred
