    Our Residential Sales Inspectors provide exceptional customer service to all our amazing customers. Residential Sales Inspectors are professional while servicing a home or business and respect and care for our customers’ property. Our Residential Sales Inspectors listen to customer’s concerns in regards to the services provided and suggest proper treatments or solutions to address their concerns. As a commission employee, Residential Sales Inspectors have the potential to increase their earnings daily based on their productivity and sales. As a commission employee, Residential Sales Inspectors completely control their earning potential.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Generate new leads by attending trade shows, networking events and by using other sources that will increase potential sales accounts. Meets with current clients for new sales and up-sells and responds to incoming leads in a timely fashion.
    • Spends the majority of the time outside the office and drives for a large part of the workday to meet with existing clients and prospect customers.
    • Gains specialized knowledge of Pest services and all the other services provided by BBF.
    • Updates knowledge of incentives and discounts available by product and season.
    • Creates sales agreements; completes and submits all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Communicates special instructions to office personnel as needed and ensures services are scheduled as agreed.
    • Collects payment from customer and delivers it to the office; adhering to company protocol.
    • Consistently follows through with all proposals; provides clarification as necessary; negotiates prices; meets monthly sales quotas set by Manager and the company.
    • Advises clients in the context of pest control services including Residential and Commercial.
    • Gives advice for prevention of pest control, recommends treatment and monitors the progress of treatment until the treatment is complete.
    • Uses personal protective equipment as is required or for prevention purposes.
    • Meets deadlines of the route and informs staff and/or Supervisor of scheduled appointments not met.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Must hold a Pest Control license.
    • Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
    • Strong presentation skills and outstanding phone etiquette is required.
    • Ability to listen and understand the client’s concerns; excellent interpersonal and written skills.
    • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, smartphone, tablet, and computers.
    • Able to multi-task and still keep strong attention to details.
    • Keeping up with long schedules during the peak season; time management skills are required.
    • Builds new business relationships and develops business communications with existing clients.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS WITH OR WITHOUT ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme temperatures including outdoors.
    • Crawl under structures on your knees.
    • Ability to move around in attics and high places.
    • Climb a ladder up to 40 feet in height.
    • Wears respirator according to OSHA requirements.
    • Repetitive lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing may be required and carry up to 50 lbs. may be required.
    • Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.

    Job Types: Full-time, Commission

    Salary: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
