    JOB CATEGORY: Full Time – DIRECT HIRE

    COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $65,000/Year, + Comprehensive Benefits & 401K

    The primary objective of the HR Generalist is to provide guidance, training and support in the areas of benefits administration, employment law compliance, employee relations, organization development and the overall administration, coordination of the human resource department. The ideal candidate must ne hands-on have a strong backbone, attention to detail, highly visible (on the floor), and be assertive to be successful.

    JOB DUTIES:

    · Facilitate and provide HR related compliance and general training (including orientation)

    · Coordinate performance reviews

    · Continually review and maintain employee handbook

    · Maintain paper and/or electronic employee files including, but not limited to I-9 forms, confidential medical files, worker’s compensation documentation, administer benefits

    · Maintain comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations including federal, state, and local

    · Act as a resource to ensure understanding and compliance with HR policies and regulations

    · Design and implement HR policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments

    · Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends

    · Manage all steps in the full life cycle of recruiting -- job posting, resume review, applicant screening, interviews, selecting, orienting and training

    · Follow up on all employee relation issues and recommend corrective actions

    · Respond to work related injuries, and follow up on any pending cases

    · Coordinate annual and special events with managers

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    · Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills required

    · Minimum of five (5) years of experience or more in HR as a Generalist within a manufacturing environment.

    · Able to work directly with the owners on a daily basis

    · Become a “change agent” and be culture driven

    · Effective oral and written communication skills

    · Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
