    COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $70,000/Year & Benefit Package

     

    Are you looking for positive culture, amazing team, and long-term growth opportunities? We've got the job for you! BBSI is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join a growing family-owned equipment supplier in the area.

    The Bookkeeper performs a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phones, data entry for AP and AR, monthly financial close. The Bookkeeper will oversee the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial transactions and reports.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    · Perform billing and accounts receivable activities to ensure the accurate and timely transaction processing, cash receipts application, and collection of accounts receivable.

    · Enter and code vendor invoices, verify amounts and authenticity, follow up with vendors when necessary, and maintain vendor information and documents.

    · Complete A/P disbursements, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, and cash control.

    · Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.

    · Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.

    · Answer phones to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues.

    · Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails, and prepare outgoing mail

    · Responsible for monthly financial close process including journal entries, variance analysis, and preparation and/or distribution of monthly management reporting.

    · Prepare general ledger journal entries ensuring that all entries have appropriate and adequate documentation.

    · Perform account reconciliations and research inconsistent results and reconciling items.

    · Ensure company compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

    · Assist with annual financial statement audit, tax requirements, and other financial matters as they arise.

    · Quote customers with collection rates and service schedules.

    · Routine post office and bank runs.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper

    · Must have experience with QuickBooks software

    · Manufacturing or relevant industry experience is preferred.

    · Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to inspire confidence.

    · MS Office suite experience, with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
