We have a poultry farm that raises chickens from babies though pullets. We need some assistance with daily chores of feeding and watering, as well as coop cleanout, brooder cleaning, weed and pest management, etc. You must be able to lift 50 lbs as the food is in 50 lb bags. Also, you need to be able to climb a flight of stairs as the brooder room is on the second floor. The work is very flexible and you can set your own hours as long as the animals have food and water. There is more work during the early spring to fall timeframe, because of the babies, and less during the winter. We have a trailer onsite that you would be able to live in, and a parcel of land in front of the trailer that you could use to grow your own vegetables, or fence for a pet. It will be about 20 hours work per week in exchange for free rent. You will be responsible for utilities and cable/internet. You must have a car, as there are no public services near us for transportation. There is also the opportunity to work more than 20 hours per week for pay.
