    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport a variety of refrigerated foods from a central warehouse to other businesses. You will need to follow a planned, consistent route and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. Good customer service with our customers is a must. Some customers require that we merchandise the product ourselves. You will need to be able to effectively merchandise and rotate product. You will also need to inventory and order products for certain customers. You will be delivering the same customers every week and must be able to maintain a good relationship with our customers. The ideal candidate has experience driving small trucks and commercial vans and makes safety a number one priority. Daily milage can be substantial but you will never be on the road overnight.     Responsibilities

    Load your vehicle and follow the delivery schedule accordingly

    Early mornings are a must. Start times will vary from 5 am - 7 am

    Perform routine safety inspections and communicate vehicle maintenance needs

    Responsibly delivery products in challenging weather conditions. Snow happens regularly on our route and a driver must be comfortable driving in inclement weather

    Adhere to delivery schedules

    Some merchandising in certain customers - some customers require merchandising of product. This requires that we communicate effectively with our customers

    Keep track of billing throughout the day. Collect checks and signatures (varies per account)

    Comply with all company policies and driving laws

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred

    Valid driver’s license

    Familiarity with GPS systems

    Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations

    Clean driving record

    Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

    Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
