Around the Hearth LLC, located in Milford, Connecticut, is a private practice seeking a full-time BCBA to join its ABA team. We provide clinic-based and in-home services (in the Fairfield and New Haven areas). Our mission and philosophy align itself with compassion-based treatments! We are ready and willing to train the right candidates in this process. In addition to ABA, Around the Hearth offers families traditional therapy! You will get to be part of a multi-disciplinary team with many opportunities for collaboration. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional with an entrepreneurial spirit looking to master their career. As a BCBA you will:
Collaborate with the clinical and management team to provide best outcomes for the clients, families, and company.
Conduct initial and on-going assessments (FBAs, Vineland, VB-Mapp, AFLS, etc.) and maintain a caseload of clients and a team of staff.
Create behavior support programs.
Train staff and parents on behavior support programs.
Create and monitor data collection protocols.
Provide training and continuous evaluation of staff performance.
Collaborate and co-treat with other professionals within the practice and with others involved with family (i.e. outside therapy, schools, etc.) to help provide a well-rounded team approach.
Engage in continuous professional development efforts to learn, maintain, and train new evidence-based, behavior analytic strategies.
Establish and maintain ecologically relevant behavioral repertoires including compassionate, humble, flexible, creative, and progressive practices.
Qualifications:
BCBA Certification or In Process of obtaining
CT Licensure
Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field with certification in ABA
At least 1-year minimum experience preferred working as a BCBA (is negotiable)
