Position Overview Atlanta Prep ABA is seeking a full-time, in-person BCBA to join our growing team. This position provides services within our school and clinic settings, working closely with students, teachers, therapists, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide ongoing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and related service providers
Analyze behavioral and academic data to guide programming decisions
Model effective instructional and behavioral strategies within classroom and clinic environments
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with BACB guidelines and organizational policies
Ensure ethical and professional compliance with BACB standards
Assist in creating positive, structured, and supportive learning environments for students
Provide parent collaboration and support as appropriate within the school setting
Support crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary
Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and ongoing training opportunities
Qualifications
Current BCBA certification in good standing
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental differences
Experience in Treatment Plan Development
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced educational environment
Experience supporting students with varying communication and behavioral needs
Preferred, but Not Required
Experience in school-based ABA services
Experience supervising RBTs
Familiarity with AAC devices and neurodiversity-affirming practices
