Core Responsibilities

Assessments: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill-based evaluations to identify target behaviors and triggers.

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition goals using positive reinforcement.

Supervision: Train and oversee Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and assistant behavior analysts (BCaBAs) who deliver direct therapy.

Progress Monitoring: Analyze session data regularly to adjust intervention strategies and maintain detailed client records.

Collaboration: Meet with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and support across environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Hold a master's or doctoral degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.

Fieldwork: Complete verified graduate-level coursework and 1,500 to 2,000 hours of supervised practical fieldwork.

Certification: Pass the official certification examination administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Licensure: Meet specific state regulatory or licensure requirements where applicable.
