  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a talented and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for the school year.

    Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

    Responsibilities would include:

    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student needs.
    • Provide direct behavior support and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions for students with disabilities.
    • Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting intervention strategies based on data and team collaboration.
    • Work closely with IEP teams, teachers, support staff, paraprofessionals, and families to support behavioral goals.
    • Train and coach school staff on ABA principles, reinforcement systems, and effective behavior management strategies.
    • Support crisis intervention and behavior de-escalation techniques within the school environment.
    • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
    • Maintain accurate data collection, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with IDEA and Michigan Department of Education requirements.
    • Recommend and support the use of assistive technology, reinforcement systems, and behavior-support tools.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
    • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
