Job Description

This position can work remotely in California or on site at our San Luis Obispo Office. 

What You’ll Do:   

• Gain understanding of all personnel costs. Participate in the process of updating salary database, preparing journal entries, tracking all employee movements (Leavers/Joiners/Transfers), as well as open positions & maintaining freelancer budget 

• Responsible for all aspects of the Research Budget, including monthly journal entries, forecasting and budgeting while interacting with SRG team. 

• Preparation of Client Profitability reporting; maintain employee allocations, track time entry, confirming revenue and all other client related costs. 

• Support in completing all reporting, scheduled and ad hoc, for agency to parent company 

• Work with and gain knowledge of the several financial and media databases that are updated on monthly basis 

• Assist in preparation of supporting documents for financial audits

Qualifications

Who You Are:    

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting/finance majors preferred) 4-6 years related financial analysis work experience at a Media/Advertising agency 

• Proficiency with Excel, SAP and Hyperion 

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills required 

• Must be very detail oriented, display a strong work ethic, and work well both independently and within a team structure
