BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SR TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER AT FORT WORTH, TX

TITLE: SR TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION: 12+ MONTHS WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION OR PERMANENT

LOCATION: FORT WORTH, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

·         Test automation and application development role.

·         Resource needs experience developing test scenarios using automation software.

·         Position will require application development as well as test automation tasks.

·         Exposure to these tools are a plus: SOAPUI, Postman, Testing REST APIs, GitHub and SQL

·         Must have working knowledge of automation tools and frameworks including Selenium, TestNg, Junit, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

·         Requires 5+ years of JAVA application development experience with strong emphasis on Test Automation.

·         Requires strong working knowledge of Java, JavaScripting, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Struts, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Swing, UNIX/Linux

·         Must be well-versed in software development life cycle methodologies with emphasis on Agile product development including incorporation of

·         Quality Assurance & Testing technique required.

·         Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns.

·         Report and track defects, assist developers in defect resolution, and compile test results for reporting.

·         Attend and participate in meetings to review test plans and test cases to ensure accuracy and completion of documentation.

·         Good working knowledge in automation and manual testing (functional Testing, system integration testing).
