Position Summary
Under the supervision of the BDC Manager receiving, processing, verifying, and distributing information from both inbound and outbound calls, to include but not limited to inquiries on new and pre-owned vehicles, internet leads, and providing general information. Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
Receive inbound calls on new and pre-owned vehicles with a goal to establish a firm appointment date and time from the prospect guest to visit Galles Chevrolet.
Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from guests, and providing general or related vehicle sales information.
Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our guests.
Gather and track all guest data as directed; accurately enter into BDC database.
Utilize detailed scripts provided by the dealership in addressing guest inquiries and concerns to meet the dealerships and manufactures objectives.
Work in close proximity with other Sales BDC Representatives in a team based environment.
Facilitate timely follow up on all internet leads as directed by management and/or procedures.
Strictly adhere to all company direction related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
Partner with BDC leadership on activities in the dealership / outside the call center. Communicate with the dealership management or front-line employees on behalf of our guests.
Participate in departmental and dealership meetings; other duties as assigned by management.
Maintain a cooperative manner with other employees
Any other duties as assigned by management
Employee must clock in at the beginning of each shift and clock out at the end of each shift. Any overtime must be approved in writing by the BDC Manager prior to the accrual of overtime.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisor responsibilities

This is a safety sensitive position that may require driving for company business, so the individual must be insurable through the MVD.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. One-year customer service experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and use a computer. The employee frequently is required to talk, hear and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a computer monitor. And sitting majority of the day.
