Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team! This position reports to the CFO and will be responsible for AR, AP, Payroll, budget forecasting and financial reporting for our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process Accounts Receivable (Invoice customers)
• Process Accounts Payable (Administer check-runs)
• Payroll (ADP System)
• Post Journal Entries as directed by CFO
• Financial Reporting - quarterly as directed by CFO
• Model forecasts and budgets in Excel
• Annual Tax Preparation as directed by CFO
• Develop and analyze departmental budgets
• Support and develop processes to improve efficiency of a growing company

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of lead accountant / accounting manager experience at a growing company
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration
• MBA a plus
• Expertise with Excel
• Expertise with Quickbooks
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Detail and deadline-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and interact regularly with multiple levels of management
• Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment
