Position Summary
The Bell Person provides a warm, genuine welcome and departure experience for all guests, ensuring their luggage, personal items, and transportation needs are handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care. This role supports the Front Office in delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining Marriott brand standards, and creating memorable first and last impressions.
Greet all guests upon arrival with hospitality and professionalism; assist with luggage, directions, and inquiries.
Escort guests to rooms, provide property overview, explain hotel features, and offer local information.
Tag, store, secure, and retrieve guest luggage according to established procedures.
Arrange transportation including taxis, ride-shares, shuttle schedules, and special requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell desk, lobby entry, and luggage storage areas.
Deliver items to guest rooms including amenities, packages, linens, and guest requests.
Assist with loading/unloading vehicles, ensuring safe handling of guest belongings.
Respond promptly to guest needs and relay requests to appropriate departments.
Support lobby presence by directing guest flow, monitoring activity, and offering assistance.
Follow Marriott safety standards, emergency procedures, and lost & found policies.
Promote hotel services, dining, events, and upsell offerings in alignment with brand service expectations.
Maintain accurate documentation for luggage, packages, and group arrivals/departures.
Collaborate with Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, and other team members to ensure seamless service.

Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs. safely and stand for prolonged periods

Previous hospitality or customer service preferred
Ability to work flexible shifts: mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
