BEPC has an NORTHFORD CT area open position for REGULATORY TEST ENGINEER to join our fast growing team of consultants! Contract W2 Period: 3 month with opportunity for extensions Pay & Benefits: $40.00/hour + Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science

• At least 5-7 years of electrical product testing, product development, or product certification experience

• Excellent communication skills, effective verbal & written English proficiency

• Basic MS office knowledge

• Knowledge of the New Product Development process of electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical products

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capability to analyze requirements & manage product compliance from application to approval

• Strong problem-solving skills: prioritize, identify root causes & take corrective actions

• Ability to use or learn and use lab equipment and relevant software. Examples include: using oscilloscope, developing loads, dielectric testers, transient machine, environmental & RFI/EMI chambers

• Recognized proactive team fostering behavior & passion to get on time results

• Demonstrated ability to work with engineers and/or agency representatives

• Proven experience to engage multidisciplinary teams to resolve problems

• Established skills to organize logistical challenges, prioritize concerns & manage resolutions
