Beta Up is looking for long term tower climbers. Work is in the Dallas, Fort Worth area

$20-28  per hour with 1.5 overtime, 1099 or W-2

Paid training $150/per day

Monday-Friday, Home every night

Must have transportation to start and end day at warehouse in COPPELL; will meet there daily, paid drive time to and from site from warehouse

Experience with AT&T/T-Mobile equipment is a plus

OSHA 30 - $100 Bonus after 90 day

TTT-1/TTT-2 - $300/500 bonus after 90 day

We also are looking for Subcontractors for AT&T and T-Mobile project. AT&T local, T-Mobile all over the NTX.

Candidate must live in Dallas or the immediate surrounding areas

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Climbing and working on communications towers while maintain safety requirements: Installation and maintenance of mounts, platforms, antennas, RRU’s, TMA, and other related equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures to expand and upgrade cellular networks.
• Review Plans, Site Plan and Tower Drawings documentation to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, kitting, labeling and color coding and determine the required installation methods, to ensure proper installation of antenna systems using technical expertise and knowledge of blueprints and diagrams.
• Assists in tower rigging as needed.
• Assists in conducting equipment testing such as sweeps, fiber optic, electrical and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing. Inventories, orders and restocks materials as needed.
• Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timeline.
• Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
• Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
• Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines..
• Learn and incorporate climbing and work safety requirements.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Assists in performing vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Understands and complies with DOT regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably 2+ years of experience in communications towers construction.
• High School Diploma/GED
• First Aid & CPR
• Blood Borne Pathogen
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certified
• RF Awareness Certified
• Aerial Lift Certified
• Capstan Operations
• Hazard Assessment
• Competent Rigger Certified
• Competent Tower Climber and Rescuer Certified
• NWSA TTT1 certification not required but is preferred or at least to be able to obtain.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
• APLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ALL CERTIFICATIONS.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to climb tall structures and work at heights (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical abilities with hand tools and simple power tools.
