Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

Survey, maintain and control all of the IT hardware, software and control equipment including High-Level controls and Field-Bus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise all IT and control equipment and carry out the pertaining preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Responsible for the network connections, pertaining to the baggage handling system
• Develop and maintain the procedures for the IT related operation and maintenance activities.
• Responsible for testing the software
• Field Bus Monitoring and trouble shooting
• Troubleshooting in co-operation with Hotline team
• Set-up and configuration of software products

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of baggage handling systems or automated material handling systems at the IT and Controls level
• Expert in the areas of:
  • High-Level Controls (SAC)
  • Field-Bus Skills
  • Software Documentation
  • Scada
  • MS Office
• Must be an analytical thinker and problem solver
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety policies, processes and procedures at all times
