Full Charge Bookkeeper
POSITION PURPOSE
The Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for assisting with day to day accounting and finance functions including but not limited to: posting cash receipts, coordinating accounts payable, and coordinating the centers corporate credit card program. Other responsibilities include maintaining vendor files and W-9’s, assisting in monthly finance and accounting dashboards/reporting, assisting with check runs, and assist with account reconciliations.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper reports directly to the Corporate Controller, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Process cash receipts on a daily basis, and reconcile each day and at month-end
Assist with check runs and three way matching process
Assist with various account reconciliations
Ensure expenses are being tracked property by department code for cost accounting
Coordinate daily cash receipt collection from various departments, and balance cash box daily
Maintain vendor rate sheets, and audit all invoices before posting
Prepare, distribute and collect invoicing for services other than the delivery of medical care.
Reconcile and post corporate credit activity on a monthly basis, and ensure proper supporting documentation is on file
Ensure the unpaid bills report is properly maintained on a daily basis
Provide administrative support for management including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and creating/maintaining related task lists.
Handle sensitive and/or confidential material and information appropriately, with good judgment and discretion.
Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
Perform general office responsibilities including faxing, photocopying, scanning, and maintain assigned calendars. .
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain vendor files, and W-9 records
EDUCATION CERTIFICATION
Associates degree required
Formal accounting courses required
EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of relevant experience
QuickBooks experience required
