Our growing company has a Construction Superintendent position ready to fill. This position works closely with the Project Manager in monitoring the timely and efficient execution of General Contractors work in a fast-paced Commercial, Industrial and Stadium construction projects.
The ideal candidate will be a coachable team player, will have strong task management skills, and the ability to work under minimal to no supervision. Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of superintendent experience
Knowledge of all trades (technical trade understanding, building codes, and trade sequencing)
Digital plan-reading experience
Digital take-offs and mark-ups experience is a plus
Ability to effectively read and understand construction plans, contracts, and specifications
Ability to develop and maintain project schedules via Smartsheet and other software
Email and digital communication experience via Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong task management skills
Team Player
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily assistance with management of jobsite and subcontractors
Maintaining compliance with OSHA and safety protocols
Developing and completing Project Completion List prior to the close out of the project and in advance of Architect / Owner's Punch List
Completing within scheduled timeframe
Ensuring project conforms to plans, specifications and quality workmanship
Daily progress photos and record keeping
Reviewing plans and blueprints
Coordinating and verifying all close out documents
Traveling if necessary
