    Job Description:As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist at BFF Medical Wellness Clinic, you will be instrumental in supporting our clinical operations and ensuring a seamless, positive experience for our clients. Your responsibilities will span across clinical tasks such as conducting phlebotomy procedures and assisting with medical treatments, as well as administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of our clinic.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct blood draws and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
    • Assist healthcare providers during medical treatments and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and enter information into electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
    • Support both front and back office operations, including scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and ensuring a clean and organized clinical setting.
    • Participate in community engagement activities like health fairs and wellness events to promote the clinic.
    • Foster a team-oriented work atmosphere, willing to undertake various roles as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Medical Assistant Certification with a valid Phlebotomy certification.
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in a medical assistant/phlebotomist role.
    • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    • Deep understanding of medical terminologies, healthcare administrative systems, and medical office procedures.
    • Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) software.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a profound ability to empathize with patients.
    • Socially active with an interest in community involvement and a commitment to wellness.
    • Flexible in working both front and back office, adaptable to various roles.
    • A collaborative team player with a keen interest in beauty and wellness.
