    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Marketing Technologist is responsible for the integration, development and maintenance of marketing technology platforms and digital marketing practices to advance the individual marketing requirements of each BHC Brand (Company). The Marketing Technologist is also responsible for the maintenance of all BHC WordPress websites and developmental support of custom websites.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Develops and Maintains BHC WordPress websites
    • Administers BHC Brand’s Google apps infrastructure and data
    • Administers BHC Brand’s ZoomInfo/Hubspot integration
    • Administers BHC Brand’s SEO and SEM
    • Facilitates BHC Brand’s websites keyword updates and displays
    • Performs BHC Brand’s websites routine maintenance (toxic backlinks, Google code errors, etc.)
    • Supports custom website and/or technology development where needed from the Web Design and/or Web Development teams.
    • Supports Hubspot/ CRM bi-directional data development.
    • Supports BHC proprietary web properties as needed.
    • Implements site analytics and analyzes results to understand behavior patterns and make evidence-based site recommendations.
    • Translates BHC Brand’s strategic needs to marketing technology requirements and use.
    • Works closely with internal stakeholders and outside technology providers.
    • Other assignments as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Understanding of digital marketing best practices, file formats, and website performance optimization including measuring page load times, caching, image optimization for the web, Google Pagespeed, etc.
    • Over 6 months of tag management (Google Tag Manager) and web analytics
    • Experience with Google Analytics, specifically troubleshooting and QA
    • Experience integrating marketing applications with enterprise applications/platforms
    • Front-end skills - HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Other Javascript libraries, Bootstrap and Responsive Design
    • Back-end skills - Experience working with WordPress ecosystems and PHP eCommerce ecosystems
    • Experience working with APIs - SOAP, REST and other
    • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
    • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages; Experience with PSD to HTML conversion
    • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
    • Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, caching, and SEO
    • Experience with Ektron CMS a plus

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience designing and implementing responsive websites (in-house marketing team or marketing agency experience preferred)
    • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn raw data and/or information into usable content/information
    • Strong organizational skills
    • -5 years of project management experience
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, WordPress.
    • Proven experience in effective communication skills
    • Ability to adapt to new technologies and proprietary systems
    • Enjoys collaborative projects and working within a team environment
