    We are seeking a Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator that manages Brulin graphic design projects and the development and production of marketing materials. In this role, you will develop, design, write, edit, and produce sales and marketing materials including product labels, promotional literature, presentations, advertising, training manuals and training tools. 

    This position ensures Brulin brand consistency through the management of product information matrices and resource libraries: manages other marketing projects as assigned: coordinates tradeshow participation and logistics; participates in strategic planning for products and programs, focuses on graphics and internal and external communications; and maintains knowledge of graphic design trends and communication technology.  

     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing role with a proven record of success.
    • Experienced in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and hands-on project management.

     SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects, work independently and as part of a team, be creative, work under stress, and meet deadlines.
    • Must be enthusiastic and exhibit a commitment to excellence, growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, and detail orientation skills.
    • Above average proofreading skills.
    • Skilled in the following software: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop), Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere.
    • Experience with and graphic design and print production processes.

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

    GRAPHIC DESIGN & COLLATERAL DEVELOPMENT

    Primary role is to design and manage the development and production of materials for reproduction in print and electronic media ensuring consistency of design and message.

    • Manages Design Workload – Works with project managers to determine scope of design projects, assigns and manages graphic design work and develops/maintains timelines.
    • Consults – Works with Sales, Marketing, R&D, National Accounts and Executive Staff.  Researches, develops and designs promotional and product materials.
    • Designs and Creates new marketing material (literature, labels, etc.) – Works under the guidance of Creative Manager to create original and template-based materials from design production stages through printing process.
    • Develops, Maintains and Creates product packaging – Creates new and updates existing product labels using design templates. Responsible for working with appropriate Marketing Manager and Regulatory team to ensure most up to date labels are being used.  Maintains and revises labels as needed. Works with Purchasing to ensure new labels are used and old ones are discontinued.
    • Creates Customer Presentations – Assists Sales and Marketing to prepare and customize presentations for use in multiple channels (print, electronic, etc.).
    • Creates Internal/External Materials – Forms, spreadsheets, as needed.
    • Maintains Design Consistency - Ensures print materials are consistent in design and content across all channels and segments as appropriate.

     

    BRAND MANAGEMENT

    Primary role is management of existing brands to include change strategies by managing the communications elements of the brand.

    • Manages Brand – Analyzes, implements, and communicates branding elements such as mission statement, vision, 6-word story, 1-pager, etc.
    • Maintain Brand Consistency – Ensures new marketing materials are consistent across all communication channels including Marketing, Sales, and all departments within the company.
    • Manage Brand Matrices and Resource Libraries – Develops process, implements with marketing /sales managers, and manages the process.  Ensures Brulin brand marketing materials are current, accurate and consistent across all communication channels including print, website, and intranet.
    • Resource Library Develops, manages, and maintains sales & marketing library and archive of promotional and training material throughout entire brand.

     

    TRADESHOW MANAGEMENT

    • Trade Show Planning – Manages the development, design, and implementation of trade show strategy.  Benchmarks competitor’s show attendance and strategies.
    • Event Logistics – Coordinates resources, exhibit booth, exhibit services, and materials from conception to delivery to site. On-site coordinator for booth set-up.
    • Tradeshow Policies – Responsible for policies and procedures related to trade show events and resources. 
    • Direct Mail Campaigns – Coordinates design, production, and distribution of mailing/advertising materials.
    • Tracking and Analysis – Monitor’s budget. Works with sales and marketing managers to distribute and monitor leads, track, and analyze key performance indicators.

     

    SALES AND MARKETING SUPPORT

    Primary role is to ensure consistent communication across all channels.

    • Marketing Plan – Works with Marketing Managers to pull together product line plans and maintains collective plan to ensure consistency in copy and messaging.
    • Sales & Marketing Support fulfillment – Coordinates internal & external distribution of marketing materials as needed.
    • News Releases – Works with Marketing Director to coordinate distribution of new releases and tracking of news coverage as required.

     

    STRATEGIC PLANNING

    Works with manager to manage strategic direction for graphic design and communication elements. This includes:

    • Graphic Design Strategies – Maintains knowledge of design and technology trends within graphics industry to develop creative solutions. Analyzes, researches and benchmarks competitors’ product packaging and literature design and communication strategies across all channels.
    • Communication Strategies – Maintains knowledge of communication trends and technology to identify communication strategies. Audits competitors’ communication methods. 
    • Budget – Works within the allotted budget.

     

    ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT/ISO

    • Coordinates marketing material distribution with sales and office support.
    • Maintains departmental files.
    • ISO – Involvement in Company ISO Program includes QP 505 (Labels) QP 200 (Quality Plan).
      • Monitors ISO label review schedule and initiates review per the ISO process.
      • Regularly audits product label files to ensure that labels are developed and archived properly.
    • All other administrative duties as assigned.
