    About Level Up Companies

Level Up Companies is an Austin-based accelerator platform built to help small to medium sized businesses to scale operations in an intentional manner. The Level Up on Finance division’s primary focus is to assist companies with their back end financial operations including areas such as KPIs (crafting, capturing, visibility, etc.), tracking operational efficiency, and financial reporting.

    Role Mission

The Reporting & Integrations Programmer owns the systems and logic that drive the automation of operational data into decision-useful financial and executive reporting.

This role operates in environments with divergent sources of information, maturing business entities, and fragmented data.

Leadership directly depends on the accuracy and reliability of this role’s work.

    Role Overview

Level Up Companies seeks a Reporting & Integrations Programmer to build, automate, and maintain the backbone of our financial reporting, data infrastructure, and KPI performance. This is a hands-on programming role working directly with Level Up’s senior finance and technology leadership.

This position works deeply inside the Zoho ecosystem, writing Deluge functions, building integrations between operational and financial systems, and ensuring that reporting outputs are accurate, automated, and decision ready.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and code, ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of creating a unified product from disparate sources of information using logic and automation. Ideal candidate is a builder of durable and repeatable systems which provide meaningful outcomes for executive leadership.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Design and implement financial/operational reporting pipelines, ensuring data flows cleanly from source systems into BI outputs
    • Maintain and enhance Zoho-based systems, with a strong emphasis on reporting accuracy, data integrity, and automation
    • Deliver executive‑level financial and KPI reporting relied upon for visibility, forecasting, and ad‑hoc decision-making
    • Proactively identify and resolve breakdowns in data flow or reporting logic through coding and system development
    • Programming solutions from complex and fractured data
    • Consistent improvements to system stability through debugging and refinement
    • Executive leadership relies on reporting outputs without independent reconciliation
    • Manual reporting of KPIs shifts toward full automation without secondary validation
    • Owning projects beginning from requirements stage to stable deployment

    Requirements

    • Currently or soon-to-be located in the greater Austin area (Required)
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, business, finance, or accounting
    • 3-5+ years in systems development, systems integrations/automations, BI/analytics engineering, or finance systems development
    • Deluge Programming (Required)
    • Zoho CRM Familiarity (Strongly Preferred)

    Success Goals

    • Programming solutions from complex and fractured data
    • Consistent improvements to system stability through debugging and refinement
    • Executive leadership relies on reporting outputs without independent reconciliation
    • Manual reporting of KPIs shifts toward full automation without secondary validation
    • Owning projects beginning from requirements stage to stable deployment
