    Job Description

    The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for accurate, damage-free selection of cases of product to fill customer orders, meet pick-up schedules, and construct sturdy and balanced pallet loads and bundles of cartons for accurate, damage-free shipping. Properly create pallets Hi-Ti as directed by the system and bundles in accordance with all customer compliance guidelines. Responsible for accurately applying the proper shipping labels on the pallets and bundles, and the required Hazardous Material documentation accordingly. The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for performing various duties and related functions as directed by a Warehouse Supervisor.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Accurate, damage-free selection of orders in accordance with production standards
    • Verify slot number, description, pack, and size of cases designated by RF to ensure accurate selection of product
    • Lift cartons from the conveyor line and place them on a pallet in the proper carton orientation as indicated by the system
    • Construct sturdy, balanced pallet loads for accurate, damage-free shipping in accordance with production standards
    • Verify wave number, pallet number, SKU and SKU quantities as designated by the system to ensure accurate stacking and movement of product
    • Lift cartons from the conveyor line, sort and place them in the proper parcel lane to the carton bundling area
    • Construct sturdy, balanced bundles of cartons for accurate, damage-free shipping in accordance with production standards
    • Properly create bundles in accordance with guidelines and accurately apply the proper parcel shipping labels on the bundles
    • Provide feedback/recommendations on improving work methods
    • Accurately create and apply all required Hazardous Material documentation
    • Work with, create, and change SOPs for process and quality improvements
    • Lift and stack empty pallets in proper pallet return locations.
    • Participate in periodic and annual inventories
    • Assist in training of new employees
    • Understanding and effectively processing Direct to Consumer orders.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma / GED
    • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a warehouse environment preferred
    • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
    • Available to work OT, various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Good oral and written communication skills; bi-lingual preferred.
    • Ability to work as part of a team
