    Job Description

    MAIN MISSION: 

    The Senior Manager of Global Inventory & Analytics leads the team in charge of: 

    • Planning processes and Inventory management,
    • Performance tracking through KPIs implementation,
    • Global Planning projects management.

    They will report directly to the VP of Global Integrated Business Planning.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (DIRECT REPORT'S RESPONSIBILITIES):

    1. Planning processes and inventory management (1 manager and 2 team members).

      • The Global Inventory Manager leads the planning community members in setting up the processes and guidelines, identifying gaps vs targets, defining action plans, and achieving KPIs. 
      • Their main mission is to reduce significantly the global inventory leading deep and strong action plans all across the business.
    2.  Performance tracking through KPIs implementation (1 project manager).

      • Lead IBP Team’s projects on performance measurement to develop new KPIs and dashboards in Power BI.
      • Be a business support to the teams for reporting (coordinator, expert for any BI tool for planning and key user community leader on Power BI).
    3. Global Planning projects management (1 project manager).

      • The Global Planning Project Manager leads the implementation of the key strategic Global Planning projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business.
      • In this role, they will be responsible for major assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex projects and issues within area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

    MAIN JOB FIGURES: 

    • 5 people on the team 
    • In contact with various regions & factories globally (approximately: 6 regions and 20 factories)
    • Manage approximately 500M EUR of Inventory 
    • Manage approximately 19,000 items
    • Manage approximately 2B EUR of Sales

     

    MAIN KPIS: 

    • Service Level, OTIF
    • Inventory coverage 
    • Inventory levels in volume and value
    • Projects’ deadlines and budget
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree is required
    • Master’s degree in supply chain or industrial engineering is a plus
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in the supply chain environment is required
    • A focus on inventory planning is strongly preferred
    • Previous people management experience is required
    • Experience in leading planning operations and projects is preferred
    • Experience in Sales and Operations Planning/ Integrated Business Planning (S&OP/ IBP) is a must
    • Strong skills on IT systems required (ideally Power BI, JDE, JDA, Blue Yonder, Anaplan)
    • Proven ability to partner with executive-level professionals as a trusted advisor 
    • Excellent executive-level communication skills, including the ability to deliver high-impact presentations on complex topics to leaders at all levels 
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative background with experience quantifying value creation for complex, non-traditional solutions 
    • Leadership to drive decisions and lead projects
    • Ability to step back and identify priorities
