Job Description

As a Sales Intern with BIC, you will assist in projects/tasks relevant to the development and execution of Sales team core competencies and strategies. This may include being involved with the National Account Managers and Sales Analysts teams.

Specific projects/tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Pull data from Walmart Retail Link/Shiloh and utilize to understand business trends
• Analyze sales and market share data from syndicated data sources to understand business trends
• Assist National Account Manager and Analytics team as support function
• Weekly store checks and photos
• Line review preparation
• Develop selling stories using key data and analytics
• Attend buyer meetings
• Support National Account Managers and Sales Analysts throughout the internship
• Review internship program as a whole and provide feedback in a formal presentation at end of the program

Qualifications

To qualify for our summer internship program, the following guidelines must be met:

• Must be a junior going into senior year of college
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong math and analytical skill set
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Results Driven
• Involvement in extracurricular activities
