    SOFTWARE TRAINER

    Big Purple Dot is seeking local candidates to join our team as a Software Trainer.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and interact with customers, be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, be extremely organized and able to multitask, and have an extreme eye for detail. Appropriate training will be provided.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This job requires connecting with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner. The use of persuasive communication skills to gain the interest and involvement of others in the process is an important aspect of the job. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and a feeling of responsibility for completing work both quickly and correctly. Selling ideas to others and the ability to train, teach and motivate a team are strong aspects of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job and will be approached conservatively and with the support and guidance of management.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Quickly become proficient in the proprietary CRM software.
    • Conduct training sessions with clients in order to set up their account and help the end customer understand how to better utilize the software features.
    • Manage and train new customer service representatives.
    • Maintain product expertise.
    • Providing amazing customer service via phone and email.
    • Go the extra mile to engage customers.
    • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
    • Build strong relationships and trust with customer accounts.
    • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
    • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and follow proper documentation with timely follow up of resolutions.
    • Meet and exceed customer service team targets and customer interactions.
    • Utilize research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to respond and resolve questions or problems pertaining to claims.
    • Working with other CSRs to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred or at least 5 years of progressive customer service responsibilities.
    • Must be able to involve the customer service team throughout the whole work process by being friendly and persuasive and leading by example.
    • Highly motivated with ability to learn quickly.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, patience and flexibility.
    • Excellent listener, communicator and presenter.
    • Ability to understand and explain technical information to technical resources as well as non-technical users.
    • Above average computer competence.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.
    • Experience with Zendesk and Calendly is not necessary, but preferred.
