BIM Modeler – Digital Twin / Reality Capture
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Ingenium Imaging Solutions is a growing digital-twin and reality-capture company focused on delivering accurate 3D data and building documentation. We work with architects, engineers, developers, and enterprise clients to provide clear, detailed models for a variety of projects. We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler to join our team and help convert site data into precise, actionable models.
As a fast-growing startup, Ingenium Imaging Solutions is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Dallas–Fort Worth office. This role will be one of the first positions hired at this location, offering a rare opportunity to help establish and shape the office from the ground up. Team members will not only gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge reality capture technology but also have the chance to influence processes, take on leadership responsibilities, and grow alongside the organization as we continue to expand nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Model Creation & Management
Develop, refine, and maintain Building Information Models (BIM) directly from point cloud data using Revit, AutoCAD, and related platforms.
Translate point clouds and 360° imagery into accurate architectural, structural, and MEP models that meet project standards.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate multi-disciplinary data into cohesive models.
Ensure models meet client requirements, internal QA standards, and industry best practices.
Quality Assurance
Perform clash detection, model validation, and documentation to support construction, renovation, and facility management deliverables.
Innovation & Efficiency
Contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling workflows, template libraries, and internal SOPs for large-scale, multi-site projects.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of professional BIM/Revit modeling experience in architectural, engineering, or construction environments.
Direct, hands-on experience in point cloud modeling is required—this role centers on creating models from laser scans and 3D reality capture data.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Strong background with point cloud processing software (e.g., Recap, FARO Scene, Leica Cyclone) and Matterport data integration.
Solid understanding of construction documentation, building systems, and industry standards (LOD, COBie, IFC, etc.).
Attributes
Detail-oriented with exceptional spatial and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred
Experience with industrial projects such as warehouses, manufacturing plants, or large commercial facilities.
Familiarity with drone-captured data, laser scanning (Matterport Pro3, Leica BLK, etc.), and 3D point cloud registration.
Experience with parametric families, Dynamo scripts, or BIM 360 workflows.
Degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
What We Offer
Competitive salary range of $75,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience.
Health, dental, and vision insurance (company covers 10%).
401(k) with 2% employer match.
Paid time off (7–10 days PTO) and paid major holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
Opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technologies and grow your career in a startup environment with clear paths for advancement and leadership roles.
