About the Position
The BIM/GIS Coordinator III – Utilities Coordinator (VDC) plays a critical role in supporting utility infrastructure coordination, BIM compliance, GIS integration, and as-built data management across Bond-funded projects.
This position works closely with the BIM Manager and District stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, QA/QC oversight, and integration of underground utilities into the company's systems.

Work Allocation: Approximately 70% office/computer-based work and 30% field site visits (may vary depending on project activity).
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Architecture or Construction Management with a focus on utilities
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field
Advanced knowledge of GIS principles, mapping techniques, and spatial data management
Demonstrated modeling and coordination experience in:

Hands-on experience with:
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with field construction teams
Ability to travel to all District project sites as required
Experience working directly with design and construction teams
Strong knowledge of BIM and utility infrastructure workflows
