Manage the Revit coordination for timely and accurate project design deliverables.
Create and maintain Revit families to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of design deliverables.
Proactively forecast and manage design team workload to avoid delays or inaccuracies in work product delivery.
Develop relationships with project team partners (PMs, Architects, MEPs, GCs, etc.) and their Revit Teams.
Work alongside Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to execute full construction low-voltage drawings set packages to architects and clients.
Plan, design, and administer low-voltage commercial design projects for clients.
Apply knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing/procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems to projects.
Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents
Coordinate and integrate engineering elements into designs for client review & permitting approvals
Produces construction documents in Revit, BIM360/ACC, Enscape, CAD, Etc.
Work together with a team and individually
Work in tandem with highly collaborative multidisciplinary design teams
Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
Have knowledge of designing BIM cabling infrastructure systems, wireless systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems, and coordinating pathways, spaces, and MEP systems that support them
Revit document control and changes throughout the project lifecycle, i.e. systems commissioning
Experience, knowledge, and understanding of emerging technologies like PoE, IoT, smart/intelligent buildings, campuses, and cities is highly desirable.
Achieve exceptional reviews from clients, partners, and co-workers on work quality and customer service.
Ability to use Microsoft Office / Google Software and industry-specific software systems including Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project, PlanGrid, Zoho, Raken, Asana, ClickUp, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred or 7+ years of Revit and/or field experience.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Revit design of cabling system, audio/visual, or security system design/consulting/installation role. Experience in multiple disciplines is a plus.
Knowledge of the BIM360 Workflow
Ability to provide detailed and efficient design solutions relating to B.I.M.
Excellent oral and written communication
Analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
RCDD, CTS, PMP, LEED, PSP or CPP, CCNA certifications a plus.
