    Job Description

    ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

    Bioray is seeking an Accounting Clerk to assist the Finance Manager and VP of Operations with General Accounting tasks including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales reporting, filing and general administrative tasks.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    ·         Scan and file all vendor invoices, customer checks and other relevant accounting documents.

    ·         Enter all sales receipts.

    ·         Record and deposit customer checks as they are received.

    ·         Collections: issue monthly statement to customers.

    ·         Enter and code all vendor invoices including credit card charges daily.

    ·         Prepare and process accounts payable check run in accordance to company policies.

    ·         Complete monthly reconciliation for all business bank accounts and company credit cards.

    ·         Complete and enter monthly commission statement for brokers and affiliates.

    ·         Compile data, perform calculations, and generate routine and special accounting reports to support operational areas of the business.

    ·         Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·         Minimum of AA Degree, preferably in Accounting, but can be in relative fields of Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.

    ·         1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

    ·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    ·         Experience in QuickBooks and ticket tracking system is a plus, but not required (will train on Zoho).

    SALARY RANGE

    ·         $20-$26 depends on experience.
