Job Summary

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join the team at our thriving restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, take their orders, and inform them of any specials. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a smile

Provide guests with an explanation of menu items when asked and inform them of any available specials

Accept payment for meals and operate the cash register

Clean and maintain lobby area

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a host/hostess is not required

Friendly and outgoing personality

Excellent communication skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
