Looking for a BYU Student (flexible) to tutor and manage high schooler's work. ADHD-I makes work hard to manage and finish on own. Job description: Twice per week in our home in Alpine UT or a local (to Alpine) library Flexible timing Work on existing homework Look through/monitor Canvas to complete any makeup work, make sure assignments are turned in, and organize upcoming work Communicate with parents on status of student Work with student on communicating with instructors if needed Help student learn to execute work and organization on own Competitive Pay Tutor: Must be fun, patient, encouraging and organized Understand learning differences Help student feel capable and successful Encourage flexible learning environment (Taking a break to go outside is fine with us) Perfect for someone going into psychology or education Good references and clear background check Student: Funny and intelligent high schooler new to area Loves history, gaming, science and all things tech Understands work just needs help with execution and mentoring on how to do it on his own ADHD and anxiety about school Parents: Very involved but student needs another mentor in this area
