The position involves administrative duties, client intake and customer service, and direct attorney support. The position requires great attention to detail and a pleasant disposition, as you will be the liaison between the attorney’s, clients, and the courts. The ideal candidate will: • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Strong written communication skills: ability to write clearly and concisely to accurately draft court documents, complete paperwork, and communicate with clients and the courts etc. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with a case management system a plus • Maintain a strong work ethic • Operate with integrity • Ability to be flexible • Proficient in managing a calendar • A smiling conversationalist. Self-motivated, highly energetic, great communicator · Adheres to deadlines. Candidate must be punctual, reliable, able to follow instructions accurately, and attentive to details. • Manage complex and difficult cases and clients in a way that reflects our firm values and culture • Work independently, but also work alongside and collaborate with a growing dedicated team • Prior legal experience preferredCurrently, the firm is hiring for a legal assistant and paralegal. The two positions will work in tandem to maintain the day-to-day functions of the legal office delivering our clients a premiere legal experience. OPEN POSITIONS  Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals Assist with the creation of various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents a needed Process client billing properly using daily time records with help from the accounting department Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with outside vendors for events Qualifications: Proficient with MS Office products Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills Applicants must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs 1-2 years of prior experience in a law firm environment as a secretary or administrative assistant • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
