  • Responsibilities

    As a Business Analyst on the Professional Services team, you will be the lead consultant on Software Implementation projects and should be proficient in multiple competencies.     You'll be responsible for:

    • Leading product demonstration and configuration discussions as well as performing assigned business analysis tasks in the project plan.

    • Working with Project Manager and Project team to develop the implementation approach, including required training, rollout methods, and change management.

    • Contributing industry expertise, improving the value and client experience.

    • Leading the defining of client business requirements, leading product configuration requirements, completing process mapping, definitions, and workflow documentation.

    • Managing and leading product walkthroughs, facilitating review of key deliverables with project team.

    • Ensuring the completion of all project deliverables and client approvals for the implementation.

    • Writing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts and leading the UAT.

    • Delivering product training for client’s end users.

    • Identifying, tracking, advancing, and resolving project issues.

    • Planning effective transition with the Service Desk team supporting the client deployment.

    • Occasional travel to client sites.

    You should have:

    • Bachelor’s degree and preferably an advanced degree in computer science, business, marketing or related technology discipline.

    • Minimum of seven (7) years consulting experience in Software and Information Technology industries with a leading consulting firm or software services organization

    • Experience with Software Implementations and SDLC methodologies

    • Professionally demonstrated functional expertise and leadership capability. Highly knowledgeable of current state of major functional areas. Insight into cost benefit of varying tools/solutions.

    • Appreciation and awareness of emerging SaaS technologies.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; including the ability to learn new software products

    • Ability to convert client needs/requests into business solutions and articulate the business impact of technology to clients.

    • Understanding of BLUE's solutions offerings.

    • Proven experience effectively communicating expectations to team members, conducting internal status meetings, client status meetings, and client checkpoint/milestone meetings.
