    Colorado Premier Surgery Center is looking for a PRN Float Pool Radiology Technician to work in our busy market, Monday through Friday. The Radiology Technician will be responsible for operation of the c-arm during pain management procedures, spine and orthopedic surgeries.

    Weekdays only, no evenings/nights, weekends or holidays! Excellent working environment. Must be personable, energetic, flexible, possess strong clinical skills and be an enthusiastic learner.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To utilize specialized knowledge of radiology procedures and techniques

    • Demonstrates knowledge of patient rights.

    • Strives to improve outcomes by respecting patients’ cultural, psychosocial and spiritual values.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of infection control, patient safety and employee safety.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of daily quality testing accuracy.

    • Demonstrates understanding of patient education regarding nature of procedure, duration and necessary aspects from a technical viewpoint and confirmation of procedure.

    • To perform the tasks of a radiologic technologist.

    • Demonstrates ability to produce high quality images throughout the procedure.

    • Gathers supplies needed for specific procedures.

    • Develops all films.

    • Schedules preventative maintenance, obtains emergency repair, maintains accurate documentation of maintenance and repair, in conjunction with state and federal guidelines.

    • Provides accurate record keeping to meet FDA, Medicare, OSHA, state and Surgery Center guidelines.

    • Maintains and documents radiation monitoring of area and personnel.

    • Obtains, manages and uses information to improve outcomes and individual and Surgery Center performances in patient care and support processes.

    • Evaluates clinical outcomes and modifies approach or recommends modifications in approaches to treatment in order to improve outcomes.

    • Reports findings of radiology reports to physicians.

    • To function as a supporting member of the surgical team.

    • Adheres to policies.

    • Maintains flexibility in assignments.

    • Completes ongoing education and competency requirements.

    • Demonstrates professional, confidential and courteous behavior.

    • Assists with stocking, preparation and waste management.

    • Assists with specimen labeling and transport.

    • Assists with patient positioning and transportation.

    • Serves as a resource to other members of the healthcare team.

    • Performs all other duties assigned.

  • Qualifications
    • Strong proficiency with networking and general information security concepts.
    • Experience translating conceptual business requirements to actionable Information Security Concepts.
    • Familiarity with zone based firewalls, vulnerability management systems and SIEMs.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly at all times.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with various corporate, property, vendor, and other stakeholders.
    • Proactive, with ability to work independently and as part of a team, making informed decisions in a complex and fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines; proven ability to multi-task
    • Computing: Mainstream Microsoft business applications, basic Linux knowledge.
    • Strong interest in the field of theme park and hospitality technology applications with the emphasis on guest experience and improving business processes and efficiencies.
    • Flexibility; ability to deal with changing priorities and business seasonality.
    • Ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player with excellent analytical skills, as well as a profound interest in and awareness of our guest experience.

    • Willingness and ability to travel to HFE operating locations as well as vendors or other related locations in the normal course of business. Travel anticipated, approx. 10%
    • Ability to give after-hours and weekend support through on-call rotation.
