We are looking for a PM WIRE ROOM LEAD AT OUR GRESHAM LOCATION.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supervise wireroom associates including timekeeping and scheduling
- Ensure accurate completion of customer orders following instructions on the cut ticket
- Train, direct, develop warehouse associates to ensure standardized practices and procedures are followed
- Monitor 200wire emails and respond in a timely manner
- Utilize LEAN warehousing strategies to eliminate waste
- Work toward and achieve 100% order accuracy
- Maintain a safe and orderly flow of material into and out of the warehouse
- Ensure all tasks in the warehouse are done in a timely manner
- Facility maintenance and security of interior and exterior
- Train and hold employees accountable for a safe work environment including the wearing of PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Working knowledge of NCE Computer System and completion of or enrollment into EDGE training
- Quality focused, Detail oriented, and safety conscious
- Self-motivated with ability to provide leadership and manage day-to-day activities

- Willingness and desire to improve knowledge and skill level
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.) Weights over 50lbs. will require the use of appropriate equipment which could include forklifts or other material handling equipment
- Use of wire re-spooling equipment and wire stripping equipment in a warehouse environment
- Usual 40-hour work week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
- Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance
