  • Responsibilities

    Under direct supervision of the Plant Operations Manager, the PAINTER will perform painting and related duties for construction projects and general maintenance of equipment and building systems throughout PIH Health campuses as directed.

    Required Skills

    • Able to work alone, organize jobs, teach various skills to others. 
    • Sufficient expertise in specialty area(s), i.e., surface preparation, painting, and wall coverings.
    • Knowledge of material and work procedures used in surface preparation, painting, and wall covering applications.
    • Possess ability to read blueprints.

    Required Experience

    • High School, GED or trade school graduate with courses in arithmetic, mathematics and painting. 
    • Three to five years of experience in all forms of painting preferred. 
    • Hospital experience preferred. 
    • Demonstrated competence in painting and related fields. 
    • California Drivers License preferred.
