    • THE CANDIDATE IS GOING TO WORK A 4 OR 5 STATE REGION SO IT'S NOT CRITICAL THAT THEY ARE IN ATLANTA. MANAGER WOULD CONSIDER CANDIDATES RESIDING IN: BIRMINGHAM, AL, MONTGOMERY, AL, HUNTSVILLE, AL, CHATTANOOGA, TN, GREENVILLE, NC, AND AUGUSTA, GA.
    • CANDIDATE WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A CLIENT'S VEHICLE; WHICH THEY WILL KEEP OVERNIGHT AND  WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A COMPANY GAS CARD. CANDIDATE IS ALSO EXPECTED TO STAY OVERNIGHT WHEN NECESSARY (EXPENSES PAID). MUST BE A US CITIZEN

    Field Operations Technician I is responsible for the routine installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of communications and associated electronic equipment, and writing specifications and operational procedures. Responsibilities include: monitoring equipment performance according to published equipment standards; diagnosing and correcting equipment problems; gathering, updating, recording and maintaining data or statistics; and responding to or reporting trouble outages or failures to appropriate personnel. May also perform duties as facility and landscape maintenance, (i.e.,  assembling, painting, soldering), constructing and/or installing equipment. Responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of power plant equipment and  responding to and resolving site outages and trouble tickets on a 24/7 basis).  Responsible for assisting in the shipping and receiving new and repaired parts and equipment, including administrative tasks, (i.e., asset management and tracking in  ATLAS). 1-5 years related work experience. Items to look for: Bard  Liebert Split Systems  Light Commercial  Preventative Maintenance Exp Corporate HVAC exp  2 to 5 years  hands experience or recent technical school graduate Basic mechanical skills  Basic knowledge of HVAC Heater operation  Experience using HVAC tools and equipment Self-starter ability to manage time and schedules Clean driving record  Basic computer skills  Refrigeration certification     80% travel  Task:  changing filters belts contractors motors compressors, check systems pressure. trouble shoot problems.  Preform preventive maintenance  Equipment types  3 to 5 ton split systems wall hung HVAC units

    BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 3 years of work experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) function in a manufacturing environment, required.

     

    EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

    • High School Diploma
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Accounting or comparable field of study), strongly preferred.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, various manufacturing and staff departments within the facility, and with groups outside the facility.
    • Demonstrated ability to utilize time management and multi-tasking skills.
    • Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Extensive knowledge of SAP and QAD or comparable ERP system.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills, and detail orientation.
    • Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions.  Takes initiative and is self-directed.
    • High level of integrity to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently without a great need of supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

     

    TYPICAL SCHEDULE:

    • Typical schedule consists of an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
    • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
    • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
    • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
    • Use of various office equipment, hand and electrical tools or equipment.
    • Use of Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas (Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection, Hair & Beard Netting).
    • Occasional working in various temperatures & humidity levels depending on building & department (not all areas are temperature controlled throughout facilities).
    • Ability to work overtime (greater than 40 hours per week)
    • Ability to work any shift, including 12+ hours, evenings, and weekends.
