    At BMC the Scheduling Coordinator for our truss plant assists in the planning and scheduling of construction projects, in order to maximize efficiency and eliminate problems and issues. Performs work under direct supervision and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

     

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Analyzes project information and puts findings into reports, in order to create more efficient scheduling.
    2. Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
    3. Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
    4. Monitors and tracks projects, and sets and re-sets schedules according to gathered data.
    5. Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
    6. Prepares planning and scheduling documents.
    7. Helping with inventory of parts and distributing of parts while documenting.
    8. Helping with the inventory of screens and hardware.

    Required Skills

    1. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent in work experience. 
    2. Analytical thinking skills.
    3. Planning skills.
    4. Oral and written communication skills.
    5. Problem solving skills.
    6. Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.

     

    Required Experience

    1.  Minimum Experience: 0-2 years in related role.
