  • Responsibilities

    With the support of the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is a plant Human Resources contact for support with staffing/recruiting, on-boarding, job postings, new hire orientation, disciplining, policy and procedure implementation, employee engagement, community liaison, plant communications and compliance.  The HR Coordinator is responsible to process payroll and track timekeeping functions including but not limited to vacation, PTO, attendance, daily reporting, LOA and STD.   The HR Coordinator is the primary contact and also responsible for temp staffing coordination and temp payroll.  Lastly, the HR Coordinator will assist with employee benefit administration and ensure proper documentation of training, attendance, disciplinary actions, and other required employee information.

    Required Skills

    Undergraduate degree is preferred or two to four years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably with a focus in Payroll, Staffing and/or recruiting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and HRIS (preferably SAP) is required.  This position requires strong tact and judgment.  Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and be capable of handling multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, motivation and process improvement skills are required.
