- Greets employees, patients and visitors. Creates a welcoming environment by answering basic questions and providing directions.
- Screen each individual per the COVID-19 screening process. Provides a comfortable, confidential screening experience.
- Authorized gatekeeper of the assigned COVID-19 access point.
- Maintains a clean and disinfected area, including but not limited to door knobs, thermometers, tables, counters, etc.
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available and replenished when needed.
- Escalate any concerns and engage appropriate staff to assist with patient care and transport as needed.
- Screeners will be either standing or sitting and may require mobility.
- Assist with other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Good verbal communication skills required. Bi-lingual a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Medical environment experience preferred.
Required Experience
- Previous experience providing customer service preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
