    BMT TRANSPORT, an established Central Coast California Carrier in the bulk transportation industry is currently hiring truck drivers throughout the Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Kern counties.

    Founded in 1993, family owned and operating in Central Coast and Central Valley Area, BMT Transport continues to increase its business and fleet. This position is a local opportunity, you will be home after each shift. BMT Transport, offers stability with consistent work year-round. We operate and maintain high quality equipment and offer flexible schedules.

    DRIVERS CAN EXPECT:

    • $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS
    • Work available Monday through Saturday
    • Full time day shifts available

    • Home daily-Local routes in the Central Coast, and Central Valley Area
    • Transporting Dry Bulk, Bottom Dumps
    • Paid training
    • Bulk deliveries, no lumping required

    • $45k to $55k a year

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Locally transport Sand, Gravel, Cement and other bulk products.
    • Perform pre/post trip inspections and accurately complete paperwork.
    • Ensure the truck and trailers meet or exceeds safe operational standards.
    • Interact professionally with all BMT Transport, team members and customers on a daily basis.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Current Class A CDL required.
    • Must pass a DOT drug screening and physical exam.
    • Good DMV driving record.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to climb into and out of cab multiple times per shift.
    • Ability to bend down and crouch.
    • Ability to crank tarps open and close.
    • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
